-AK Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aaron Kleiber has been entertaining audiences for over two decades, evolving from a local class clown at Steel Valley High School to a versatile actor, comedian, and creative producer with deep roots in the entertainment community. Aaron’s journey began with sketch comedy and award-winning short films in high school, alongside longtime collaborator Chris Preksta (Mercury Men, Pittsburgh Dad). Their projects, including the beloved indie film, subsequent ground-breaking web series, "Captain Blasto" and the Star Wars mockumentary "A Great Disturbance," garnered acclaim at film festivals and comic cons nationwide. After a brief study at Second City in Chicago, Aaron returned to Pittsburgh, where fatherhood and his love for comedy led him to stand-up in 2009 at the Pittsburgh Improv. Within the year, seen touring with comedy legends like Bob Saget, Jim Breuer, John Witherspoon and Ralphie May, Aaron quickly becoming one of the most in-demand opening acts. His dynamic, high-energy performances have since earned him stage time at prestigious festivals, including a finalist at Big Sky Comedy Fest and Gilda's Laugh Fest, as well as regular appearances at iconic venues like the Hollywood Improv, Comedy and Magic Club, The COmedy Store and The Laugh Factory. In 2020, Aaron premiered his one-hour stand-up special "Grown @%$ Dad" on Amazon Prime, filmed during the pandemic with Animal Studios (Downward Dog, ABC). The special, a reflection of his life as a husband and father, has since accumulated millions of views and streams across platforms like YouTube and TikTok, cementing Aaron as a favorite for comedy fans nationwide. Aaron’s talents extend beyond stand-up. As an actor, he has guest-starred in popular TV shows for CBS, Nickelodeon, and SyFy, and landed roles in major studio films, including "Warrior" and the Oscar-nominated "Judas and The Black Messiah." He’s also made numerous appearances on national radio and podcasts, including Bob & Tom and Doug Loves Movies. Along with over 30 commercial credits, inculding the memroable 'President Gorver Cleveland' for Pennsylvania Lottery. Locally, Aaron has made a lasting impact on Pittsburgh’s comedy scene. He’s been named "Best Comedian" by local media five times and has helped grow the city’s comedy community, creating shows at the Pittsburgh Improv, Arcade Comedy Theater and the ever-popular stand-up game show, "Standup Getdown." His podcast, "Grown Dad Business," with over 230 episodes, has reached over a million streams and features candid conversations with comedy greats like Bob Saget, Brad Williams, Tammy Pescatelli and Paul Rodriguez. As a creative producer, Aaron has developed and contributed to a wide array of content for agencies, studios, non-profits, and brands, from the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, ScareHouse and Kennywood Entertainment to national brands like Target and Coach. His annual "Comedy at the Carnegie" event, benefiting the Carnegie Library of Homestead's community and education initiatives with non-profit 'Friends of the Carnegie Library of Homestead', has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local causes, reflecting his commitment to his hometown.
