Happy New Year Friends! Right? A wild January already, but thankful for every one of you thru 2024.. the FIRST EPISODE of 2025! New Year's Resolution.. I'm not changing a damn thing lol You know what they say: New Year, new me! Well, I'm cool with me right now. New Year, same dad bod. And guess what? I’m fine with that. Welcome to the first Grown Dad Business episode of the year, which of course, I’m dropping in mid-January because it's been January 2nd has lasted three weeks. Let’s talk about how we kicked off 2025, shall we? One minute my kids were sledding, the next I’m watching Instagram stories of my friends in LA running from literal fire. Nothing puts your life in perspective like shoveling snow while someone’s posting, “Had to abandon the car. Bye, house!” We out here in the Midwest, debating whether the kids should have a two-hour delay for “ice.” Resolutions… Let’s get real, it's wild out there, I won't keep them. let's just embrace those things that make us feel better this year and have un-solutions. Anyway, if you’re still listening to Grown Dad Business or watching on YouTube, thank you. You’re the real MVPs. And if you’ve got resolutions, good luck. Just remember: hide your snacks, embrace the clutter. (this is not true, it's comedy. I've actually changed a lot. Dug deep in 2024, can't wait to share with you)! Please subscribe to Youtube & listen/subscribe where you listen to podcast, leave a review! ps. listen in this ep carefully.. peace ak

All the algorithm knows about Aaron Kleiber; the actor, comedian, creative producer & entrepreneur1/10/2025
A new bio from the help of my creative friends and a bunch of bios I found online that things I forgot I even did.. cool!
Oh yea, I went to college! -AK Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Aaron Kleiber has been entertaining audiences for over two decades, evolving from a local class clown at Steel Valley High School to a versatile actor, comedian, and creative producer with deep roots in the entertainment community. Aaron’s journey began with high school shows, sketch comedy and award-winning short films, alongside longtime collaborator Chris Preksta (Mercury Men, Pittsburgh Dad). Their projects graduated to include the beloved indie film, "Captain Blasto," (screened at Mann's theater Los Angeles), also a subsequent ground-breaking Youtube web series; and the Star Wars mockumentary "A Great Disturbance," both garnering acclaim at film festivals like San Diego Comic Con, Newport Beach Film Festival and fan cons nationwide. While beginning as a featured young improvisor part of the 'Friday Nite Improvs' at Pitt, Aaron studied film/acting at Point Park University and then transferred to Geneva College, where he 'graduated' with a degree in Youth Ministry and Media Theology (won three film festivals, worked every job on campus, played ice hockey goalie, had big-dry house parties, nickname 'legend'). But the real comedy and creative roots took hold while working in youth ministry for the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation and Northway Christian Community, where Aaron led programming and teams of creative college-aged interns, as they entertained and engaged over 500+ youth a week with media, stage, improv and interactive events. After a brief study at Second City in Chicago, Aaron returned to Pittsburgh, where a life of fatherhood and the love of his life, Wendy, were. Just down the road from his alma mater, led him to stand-up in 2009 at the Pittsburgh Improv. Within the year, he is seen touring with comedy legends like Bob Saget, Jim Breuer, John Witherspoon and Ralphie May, Aaron quickly becoming one of the most in-demand opening acts in comedy. His dynamic, high-energy performances have since earned him: a television debut on 'Gotham Comedy Live' (including being part of 'best of season 2' episode), then his second tv appearance on 'Standup & Deliver as part of the Cabo Comedy Festival; stage time at prestigious festivals, including a finalist at Big Sky Comedy Fest, 2x Limestone Comedy Fest, and 'Best of the Midwest' at Gilda's Laugh Fest; as well as regular appearances at iconic venues like the Hollywood Improv, Comedy and Magic Club, The Comedy Store and The Laugh Factory. Aaron premiered his one-hour stand-up special "Grown @%$ Dad" on Amazon Prime, released during the pandemic with Animal Studios and director Michael Killen (Downward Dog, ABC), audio album with over 1 million streams, top 10 on iTunes, Spotify, Pandora, SiriusXM rotation. The special, a reflection of his life as a husband and father, has since accumulated millions of views and streams across platforms like YouTube and TikTok, cementing Aaron as a favorite dad for comedy fans nationwide. Aaron’s talents extend beyond stand-up. As an actor, he has guest-starred in popular TV shows for CBS, Nickelodeon, and SyFy, and landed roles in major studio films, including "Warrior" and the Oscar-nominated "Judas and The Black Messiah." He’s also made numerous appearances on national radio and podcasts, including Bob & Tom and Doug Benson's Doug Loves Movies. Along with over 30 commercial credits, seen during the Super Bowl and NBA/NHL playoffs, including the memorable 'President Grover Cleveland' for Pennsylvania Lottery. Locally, Aaron has made a lasting impact on Pittsburgh’s comedy scene. He’s been named "Best Comedian" by local media five times and has helped grow the city’s comedy community, creating shows at the Pittsburgh Improv, Arcade Comedy Theater and the ever-popular stand-up game show, "Standup Getdown." A weekly comedy staple on the top 40, award-winning morning show 'Bubba Show' on Star 100.7 FM. His podcast, "Grown Dad Business," with over 230 episodes, has reached over a million streams and features candid conversations with comedy greats like Bob Saget, Brad Williams, Gina Yashere, Tammy Pescatelli, Bobcat Goldtwait and Paul Rodriguez. As a creative producer, Aaron has developed and contributed to a wide array of content for agencies, studios, non-profits, and brands, from the Pittsburgh Leadership Foundation, ScareHouse and Kennywood Entertainment to national brands like Target and Coach. His annual "Comedy at the Carnegie" event, benefiting the Carnegie Library of Homestead's community and education initiatives with non-profit 'Friends of the Carnegie Library of Homestead', has raised tens of thousands of dollars for local causes, reflecting his commitment to his hometown. Aaron continues to write, perform, and produce from his home in Pittsburgh, PA, where he lives with his wife Wendy and their three children. Whether cutting grass, collecting things he doesn’t need, or making people laugh, Aaron remains passionate about encouraging people to be what they were created to be and leaving a positive impression in the world. by Aaron KleiberHey, friends. The holiday season is upon us, and I’m already feeling like a character in a Hallmark movie that’s not going to make it through the third act. Let’s talk.
Life is hectic. We’ve got Thanksgiving dishes in the sink, Halloween tombstones still in the yard, and a tree decorated like glitter monster threw up in my living room. Good times. But you know what? Sometimes, you just have to go out in the yard, the alley, in a random field and scream ath the stars. Tis the season. Yell at a Santa display. Scream at Baby Jesus in the manger to get through it. I’ll keep it ‘lite and open-mikey…’ but pretend I’m yelling sometimes… May I? What Day Is It?I can’t figure out what season it is. Halloween just ended, Thanksgiving hasn’t started, and yet somehow, I’m under the glow of six fully decorated Christmas trees. Why am I stringing lights before I’ve brined a turkey? Why does my neighbor have a twelve-foot inflatable Santa up before I’ve even tossed my jack-o’-lantern? Someone hand me a calendar because I’m officially lost. Christmas Music OverloadLook, I love holiday music, but starting it on November 1? Too much! My kids are secretly blasting "Jingle Bells" in the car while I’m begging for one more week of normal radio. By December 15, I’m ready to drive into a snowbank if I hear Dominic the Donkey one more time. It’s like a sugar rush of cheer that leaves you crashing hard. The Family Photo SagaWhy do we do this to ourselves every year? I’m supposed to corral my kids, comb my hair, and pretend like we’re a Norman Rockwell painting. Meanwhile, my wife’s trying to coordinate sweaters, and I’m begging for Photoshop magic. Let’s just AI our photo for the next five years. Better yet, let’s tell everyone the kids are vampires and don’t age. Amazon Is the New SantaForget handwritten letters to Santa. My kids just add TikTok-inspired gifts to their Amazon lists and assume I’ll forward them to the North Pole. They even update their lists on December 24. Santa doesn’t have a Prime account, kids! Also, where’s the "Send to Santa" button? Jeff Bezos, help me out here! The Concert Camera CrisisIf one more Aunt Carol pulls out an iPad to film a holiday concert, I’m going to lose it. These concerts are a treasure trove of kids in itchy outfits and sleigh bells gone rogue—don’t ruin it by blocking the view with your tablet! Smack the iPad out of their hands, folks, and enjoy the live show. Craft SweatshopsMy house has turned into a 24-day advent craft-a-thon. My wife has the kids gluing popsicle sticks like they’re in Santa’s workshop. I’m pretty sure we’re violating child labor laws. But hey, if you need a homemade ornament, hit me up—no tariffs on these bad boys! Let’s Leave Politics at the DoorThe holidays are stressful enough without adding debates over stuffing versus dressing. (By the way, it’s called stuffing only after it’s been inside the bird. Debate me if you dare.) Let’s all take a deep breath, leave the disagreements outside, and find common ground in free YouTube karaoke. Before the family gatherings, before the stress takes over, go outside and scream into the stars. If it’s too cold, stick your face in the tree like the squirrel from Christmas vacation, kneel down elbow the tree and scream at Baby Jesus. He can handle it. The holidays are about showing kindness and love, sharing laughter and memories and dsesert. Even if those memories involve a shouting match over the last piece of pie or a forgotten Elf on the Shelf. Thankful for you friends. Best, Aaron Kleiber Got holiday stress stories?
